Have been several times. All be it a few years back now.

Depends what you are looking for in a holiday. If its 24 hour partying then no.

Relaxing beech holiday with some great sights then yes. Think Bugibba is (or at least was) the busiest area.

Very friendly people, cheep beer and some great spots to do some scuba diving/snorkeling. Boat trips around the island always a winner and great for working on the tan.

My client last week had just got back from holiday in Malta, they loved it. Most important thing they had to report was that Malta inherited all our bendy buses! They still had "Arriva" livery.

Its possible you might get a spot of rain in September. The weather is not as predictable as in other months. Its mostly still hot and sunny though.
I go over to visit family about four or five times a year. (I'm half Maltese on my mother's side). I can tell you anything you want to know about the island.
I only just came back two weeks ago. I'll be there again at the end of August.

We used to go there on duty quite often. We all always enjoyed it and the locals are very pleasant and friendly.

It is a place for old people, its not party over there but I loved it. Lots of History for an old island and cheap to get around the whole place on the local bus's for cheap. Defo worth a visit.

Ive spent a few holidays around Paceville. Certainly some lively bars and pretty girls to be found at the weekend.

Unlikely you pull a local though. Which might be a good thing. They look great when young, but get fat and hairy as they get older!

Have you personally managed to avoid that so far?
