Why do we call it "flaming June"?

Why do we call it "flaming June"?
Was it because the old-timers wouldn't say "fukcing June"?
Because I can't remember the last decent one we got.
My roses are rotting on the bushes again, all drooping and full of water, and there's no sign of an end to it ........
I think it's rained every day, here, so far in June.

Weathers been **** up here too, rain, clouds, rain, clouds etc etc. been like this for weeks now.

Is the UK just in a poorly situated part of the globe,where all the rain seems to linger.This bloody jet stream that everyone cracks on about is just getting ridiculous..Can't we just get a few tug boats and tow the country to a nicer climate...

Ours was lifted on 14th June
We had had about four days since it was imposed when it DIDN'T rain!
