Default Home finance app

I'd like to start monitoring our household income/expenditure, does anyone know of a decent app for the iPad?
Thanks
Nik.

Better off using excel to keep proper tabs. There was something called pocket money I had on the iPhone, used once then never really worried about it again

I used to use Quicken, Microsoft Money was supposed to do a similar job, but for some reason both companies decided to discontinue their products.

I stopped recording every transaction individually when I met the missus and she told me to get a life I used to enjoy figuring out how much I squandered on booze every month

There has to be an excel type app - surely that's all you need.

I use a home build spreadsheet to track regular and one-off income and outgoings each month. It really does help monitor what I spend money on. I use one tab per month and create a new tab at the end of the month for the next one. I even have a "reserved" amount for car fuel which I put actual spend against so it knows I have to keep that amount aside.

Thanks for the replies.
I've found a couple of apps and an excel type app for the iPad so I'll see which works best.

Can you have multiple tabs and can a work sheet be password protected?
Thanks

I cannot think of anything more depressing than getting a better picture of the black hole my money seems to disapear into.
