Suppose it'll serve purpose but I've had a couple bits of Technika stuff and it was god awful Their TV's can't be too bad though surely?

I bought a small technica full hd lcd for the bedroom and tbh I'm quite impressed with it, I have also seen the 3d tv's they have in action in my local store and they have a nice picture, colours and brightness seems pretty good, imo they are pretty good for the money, they seem to have come a long way over the last couple of years.

The pictures do generally seem good, but I would be more concerned about the longevity of a 'bottom of the range' product. If the components are crap, how long will it last? Then if/when it does break, what's the customer services like if Tesco tell you to do one after the 1 year warranty.

I'll personally never buy Technika again, I'd rather buy something better branded on sale or end of stock etc. I mean for electricals anyway.

I'm not that bothered about 3D to be honest. I don't have any 3D channels or a blue ray player as yet.
I need a DVD player, a bigger TV and was looking at 37" LCD's for around £400 until i saw this.

Now i may be shot for saying this but i heard that a lot of these TV's contain the same components but are just re-badged?
It made sense when I've seen other TV's with the same style volume bar etc as the one i currently have.

Got a 23" for the bedroom, the internal DVD player has been replaced once already and looks like it's nearly fooked again.

I take it you didn't see the gadget show a couple of weeks ago then
They did a review of 3d tv's and the cheapest, in this case a Sharp won.
It too was around the £400 pounds mark.

Nik.
