Default just seen this on yahoo news

I know there is safety glass between the lion and the child
but it is still bad parenting in my opinion to let this happen
the parents are even laughing aswell what idiot's.
if it was my 1 year old son I would of taken him away from the glass immediately.

I suppose being dressed as a delicious zebra didn't help.
Kid doesn't seem bothered, don't think it'll cause any major psychological damage where he will go on a rampage.

maybe it's just me but I would not of had my son in that position
even tho I know the lion could not get through the glass

you got me there I am very over protective over my family

but that's not a bad thing it just means care a lot about them

I care about my family but you have to weigh up the actual reality of the safety glass failing.

It's a zoo children are up at that window everyday.

So I take it you won't be going to zoos anytime soon?

If you look at the lion it isn't really "going" for the baby. It just can't work out why it can't get to it.

Having said that I would probably have moved the child - I would also have perferated ear drums from the wife screaming.

If the child had been scared I would have agreed with the OP but he wasn't bothered one bit by it so no harm done.

I disagree with that.

I would have thought that with lion opening up its mouth fully, ready to eat the babies head, would have been a give away!

I wouldn't be able to leave my son there, even if he wasn't crying. It is not being over-protective, it is most natural instinct there is.

Neither do I

Something to show the kid when he's a lot older, plus you'd probably get £250 on you've been framed

I know what you mean but the Lion doesn't seem angry or aggressive - just annoyed it cant get to the child. I guess if its annoyed it can't get to lunch then yes, perhaps the child might be in a spot of bother if the glass was removed

i can see your point to an extent i know the glass failing would of crossed my mind as a parent myself but would be a pretty funny thing to show the kid when its older all the same. also would make a good thing to threaten the kid with when its misbehaving feeding it to the lions

The baby was fine, no doubt the Lion would have killed it but it seems more inquisitive than hungry or agressive, immaterial either way.

I think it`s disgusting!....... Teasing a poor kitty with a tasty morsel. Animal cruelty of this kind should not be tolerated.

A brainless and unnecessary act to to put the child and the lion into that position anyway. What were they trying to prove?
