Blimey. I thought it was a tad steep at 15k when I saw it was coming up. Yes it's original and the 8th made but by the time it's been restored there won't be anything left of it apart from the vin number and that glass washer bottle.
To that end, if the new owner actually restores it, will they devalue it!?

Its is quite amazing how much the price of an old vehicle can escalate if there is some kind of a solid reason in the history of the machine.
I used to own a Vincent "White" Shadow when I was a lad which I bought for £100. A White Shadow was a Black Shadow with an unpainted engine which was made because Vincent had run out of the special paint they used on the engines. I was told by an expert that they only produced four like that.
I sold it for a similar price when I had to go to Canada for my RAF training. Last year a White Shadow was sold in auction for £87K!
Talk about feeling sick!!!

I saw that on eBay and looking at the condition thought 15k guide price was over the top. These early cars are totally different to later ones and floor panels are totally different, I don't know of any commercially available floor panels for them so a restorer would have to hand make most of the panels, they also have no recess around front and back screens so again panels would need to be made, I can see a car like this costing 1000's to restore properly and would need a lot of mini specific knowledge to keep it original. Not for the faint hearted,
