Just been for a run, quite pleasant but noted that the reservoir has nearly burst it's banks so should see the end of the hosepipe bans

Apparently not. It's to do with the water running off the surface rather than soaking in and filling up the water table.

Nothing at ALL to do with their enormous leakage problem.....

I'm making very slow steps into getting back into RC racing - I want to go slow rather than jump in and lose interest after a few meetings.

My local track had its regional meeting today and its been cancelled. Wasn't going to race but want to start attending to get the taste for it again.

It has been lashing down here in North Wales all weekend. Mold Road to Wrexham has been heavily flooded. There were two road safety vehicles there, trying to keep an eye on things. If I were in my old scoob with low profile tyres today, I would have aquaplaned all over the place. Thankfully my VW kept its composure on flooded roads. Hope for a dry day tomorrow, but who knows.

Not all of SW France it hasn't

Currently blue skies, has been all day and has reached 18 degrees here in sunny Scunny!

That, after nearly 40mm of rain yesterday.
