You could spend 36 hours on one of these restorations and there will always be someone with different views.
The aim is to achieve a realistic look and uniforms were green.

I had a long think about the sky and I do agree the b/w looks better but you need to understand I am governed by what the client wants.
I've heard several old boys on TV talking about WW1 & WW2 and several times they say when you are surrounded by death & war the sky is the only thing that never changes. You could look up and feel back home.
I do put much though into these but everyone will ask or has different views on how certain things should be.

That's because everything was b/w back then, colour in life only really happened in the early 1960's

Thats what I thought... Looks like western front and soldiers uniform looks correct for that period.
