School Photos ??
I'm guessing not, but do you know of any authority that keeps a copy of school photos ?
I'd like to purchase some of mine from my Primary school and just wondered if it was possible ? loads of BS web sites, I thought maybe the local council ? (normally the school, but its closed)

This might sound really stupid but did your parents ever purchase them?
My mum did and has them for every single year as we do for our kids now
I would have thought local private photographer and as it would have been film, the chances of them still having copies is pretty slim I guess
What about local paper?
Library Archives ?
Some schools have pictures up on the walls dating back many many years still on show

Might be worth trying your local Council. I would imagine whoever took the photographs would have been vetted. So they might know who the Company was. If they still exist, you might be able to get copies from them. Good luck

We used to have to all line up and the camera would move around in a semicircle to take the picture of the whole school.
We used to have a competition to see who could run around the semicircle and get photographed the most times while the photo was being taken.
The only problem was the obvious evidence afterwards of what you had been up to!

LOL It will be good see the evidence, if you still have it, Les. I wanna see you running around in a semicircle as a child.
I'll go with Lee's post for a suggestion to OP. The images we took for granted whilst living through the days of yore start to bear some meaning for us after years. Good luck, Pimmo. Hope you find yours.

You never know there could be a picture of you on a prisoners cell wall
I would have thought that no one would keep them as back then they negatives would take up space. Even on a memory stick, it all takes up space.
One thing you could try is contacting the head master. I'm sure they would love to hear from you etc.

awwww, would have been great to see.
I must be the opposite of your Mum, Les. I still have the hair from my kids first haircuts and their first milk teeth (taken off the tooth fairy of course)

Awww, shucks. Anyhow, your reminiscence succesfully generated amusing mental images of our Lessie as a nipper; running around in a semicircle with other nippers.
