Thumbs up

No it's not the one with the rubber.

I've got a 6310 and am pretty pleased with it. It won't last 18 days without being recharged - more like 7-10 days.

It's well built and has everything you need in a phone, plus it's future-proof (has bluetooth).

Andy.

And then along comes the 6310i to replace it.
Only difference is tri-band and display is blue.
Great. Thanks Nokia. So the 6310 is now outdated soon after launch.
Ericsson have done the same with T68 and T68i.
Is it like XR3 and XR3i?????

But anyway the 6310 aint a bad phone!!

Does it suffer from the 6210 bugs like turning it's self off at least four days a day?

Having done contract connections in the past and thru trade contacts it's quite well known in the industry that Nokia's rush out a new phone withouth much testing - Motorola and Ericsson are not as guilty here.

The old Motorola startacs had a problem where they'd turn themselves off and the only Nokia's with this issue are the 7110's and 51/61 series. However, all Nokias, in particular the 8210 have a screen issue where they've used glue which is too weak meaning occassionally the screen seems to go blank and requires you to push down on the fascia quite hard.

Personally I'd wait for the New Nokia 7650 (available now for a premium of £500 !!) when it's officially released in Q3 of 2002. check out http://www.nokia.com/ or the Nokia asia website for more information.

Owners of the Ericsson T68 should know they can have a free software upgrade done with the T68i software.

ANy more info. needed please ask !

Jai
