Housing benefit?
I've had a tough couple of years The value of my London pad is nearly down to the £4m that I paid for it and my annual income has dropped to only around £300k. And that's with two whole days a week.
I've run out of ways to avoid all the 50% rate and some of the cars will have to go if I have to pay a mansion tax as well.
So do you think I am entitled to any housing or other benefits? After all I nearly paid tax last year and I still get only one dustbin.
Thanks, d

I'm almost in the same boat, I live in a tiny 5 bedroom £2m town house in London provided by the Government. I have my 9th kid on the way with my third wife, there just isn't enough room. Thankfully I have been provided with the option of going to a larger property either in Notting Hill or Kensington. My children suffer various medical conditions but I have yet to decide on what condition my new arrival will suffer from when it's born, but hopefull will continue to receive handouts from the Government to help with their care. My mother will be visiting next month so hopefully we'll be in our larger home by then. She has an illness for which she needs medical treatment. Thankfully the NHS will provide her with free care and we'll also get a carer for her too. I still won't be able to work, but I'll still sign up for the job seekers allowance, every bit helps. I also have a crippling condition that leaves me pretty much house bound for most of the time, plus also my wives also have disabilities that also prevent them from looking for work too. But we are receiving allowances to help with the cost of looking after each other. I don't understand why the Government plan to reform the benefits system. It's madness when it currently works quite well. Oh well, I'm off to the pub to drown my sorrows....

There's a supermarket just down from Sutton nick. Hopeless security guards, so just go and steal them. Make sure you take your mobility Range Rover to carry all of your goodies.
