little yourkshire puddings with a wee slice of roast beef, finely chopped carrotts and peas, and gravy .... sounds like alot of work but its not really and theyre proper boshty!
Blinis (or little squares of brown bread) with salmon and a blob of philly on, sprinkle with black pepper and garnish with parsley.
Pigs in blankets. nom nom nom
mini crispy duck pancakes with plum sauce
Easy way is to hit up the morrisons deli counter for chicken pakoras, mini samosas, spring rolls etc.
Struth this has made me hungry!

Vol-au-vants with prawns and seafood sauce
Sausage Rolls
Yorkshire puddings as above although I would skip the vegetables and just have a rolled slice of beef with a dab of horseradish

Its all about a wee snifter of veg to add some texture and then sweet sweeeeet gravy to top it off.

A small circle of Italian cured meat - Prosciutto, salami, parma ham etc.
Smear a bit of balsamic vinegar on it, place a few rocket leaves in the middle, bit of black pepper (optional), gather up the edges and secure with cocktail stick.
Bellisimo.

Easy one
A bag of nice mixed salad, baby leaves grated beetroot stylee.
Some fine gossamer thin Italian Parma Ham - grilled till its crispy : but not cremated!
make a horseradish dressing.
Lashing of dressing over a mound of artfully dolloped salad crumble the ham over the top.
Et voila - ce magnifique
easy, tasty, not too filling, looks the bizzo.

Here's a nice little tricky one to do,
you need a jar of small sweet pickled onions and a large tub of cayenne pepper,or chilli powder will do
Drain the onions, then roll them in the pepper, keep doing it until they are dry, takes a bit of time, but they look sooooooo nice, and the look on your guests faces is priceless
I did it,and ended being bet i couldnt eat 6,i did and regretted it the next morning
