I'm no expert and this might be better off in the computer related forum BUT, It sounds like you own the domain so can pretty much do what you want with it and have it hosted wherever you want.
If you have your website on your PC I would recommend buying a basic hosting package from www.nethosted.co.uk It only costs £34.95 per year and their tech support simply cannot be beaten. I am in no way affiliated with Nethosted, just used them for the last few years and have never experienced such good customer service anywhere before.
Once you have a hosting package they will take control of your registered domain and you can upload your website site to their servers. Simple as that really.

Apples, all you will need to do is get another host, which is very simple, personally I would suggest using someone that offers things like cpanel etc if you search for cpanel hosting on the net you will find a few come up.
I could name some and one who is very good and I know them myself but it may be best for you to make up your own mind on who you use but beware somethings are not always as they seem
When you have got a host they should be able to help you with getting your domain redirected to your new host as iirc some things need be changed (nameservers I think they are called).

If you get stuck you are welcome to PM me. I build websites as part of my living, and can offer you web hosting, email, cpanel access etc. People always ask about prices, but it all depends on what you want. The more you are prepared to do, the lower the charge, but it won't be less than £50.

I would personally look at getting someone to create a site for you. Good websites are essential to maximise business in my opinion. I always consider how professional a website is before I think about making a purchase or using a service.
Nethosted basic package http://www.nethosted.co.uk/uk-web-hosting-basic.php £34.95 per year

Check out Vidahost if you need a hosting package. Without a shadow of doubt THE best support you will find and cheap too.
As for the website. If you're serious about it as a business, be serious about your website.
Get someone to knock up a professional looking one for a couple of hundred quid. It will pay for itself!
Get some half decent SEO too.

Apples, just make sure you check these peoples work out as some claim to be good at seo etc but the results often are not. Obviously I am not saying anyone on here is no good but just like buying cars, double glazing etc always get a few quotes and a description of what they will do for you.

The SEO on your existing website is pretty bad (sorry, just being honest) and could be improved massively.
I notice your use of Google Places is getting you to the top for "recover southampton" which is good. However, don't confuse that with an organic listing. Your website would be nowhere to be seen were it not for Google Places.

Google wants to serve up the most relevant, useful and up to date information to its users. It therefore follows that - these days - if a website is built with the user in mind then you are half-way there with SEO.
The title of a website is very important - that is the part that appears in the tab in the browser. For example, the title for this thread is the title you gave it. You defo want your keyword(s) in your title. Look at the title for the transportingcars website and you'll see it is keyword rich.
Next you want to have your keywords in your meta description which is the little bit of text that is displayed below the title of a website in a Google search. This is your opportunity to entice visitors to your page.
Look at how your main page currently shows up in Google
Assuming you are wanting to target the keywords phrase "southampton recovery" then you'd want the title to be something like.
Southampton Recovery | Vehicle Recovery & Transport Southampton |
Your meta-description might read:
"Needatow are a Southampton recovery service specialising in vehicle recovery and trasportation in the Southampton area."
^^^ that sort of idea.
Then, on your main page you want your H1 title to feature your keywords as well. So, again, get Southampton and Recovery in there. Next you want to use those terms organically and naturally in your main text. Don't stuff the keywords in - what you write should make sense and be written with humans in mind. Try to shoot for 400+ words per page. Also, name pictures things like "southampton recovery vehicle" (for your blue truck) and use the Alt-tag to describe the picture as well (i.e. Blue Southampton Recovery Truck").
That's the basics of SEO. Hope it helps

Pretty much
Never tried 1and1, so no idea how much control you actually have. I'd imagine it is useful resource for a lot of people but probably no substitute for a properly made website.

Text size and attributes is controlled by CSS. Look around 1&1 and see if there is an option to change the CSS code. My guess is there won't be as it's designed for non-webby-types. That said, there is surely an option to change text size somewhere? As I said earlier, this type of approach is always going to be limited.
