Its way too long. I just get the result on BBC newsonline (usually with a clip of the winners interview).
As for the winner.........Mark Cavendish, any other winner would be a travesty.

Cav is already 6th in the all time tour wins with potentially another dozen wins to come.
He could be the greatest ever. It is easy to say he is a sprinter but he still needs to there, on the wheel in the last 250m. To do that consistently is formidable.
Also Britain's first rainbow jersey for many years.
As for the drug comment

I think Darren Clarke would make a worthy winner. Getting back on track and winning his first open at 42 after the very sad loss of his wife. Life can be so cruel and I remember being so touched by that win and the huge love he has for his two boys that lost their mum,

He didn't mention Lance who had just won his 7th title. I asked him why and he was really agitated and said that ANYONE who achieved something that no-one else had done MUST be on DRUGS.
What, like winning a rowing gold FIVE GAMES in a row?
Lance on drugs, maybe, maybe not. But Lance and his trainer Chris Carmichael did revolutionise training in endurance sport that pretty much all teams now do - a methodology proven to be extremely effective across many endurance athletic events.
But show me another sport where drugs are not used? Even if it just having an espresso to give that extra kick - performance enhancement is widely used.
