Hansen has at least won something - well, everything actually - So he is giving you the opinion of someone who knows what it takes. Unlike some of the others

MOTD is a bit overrated, but Hansen and Lawrenson are the two best pundits out there. Been there, done it, and both tell it how it is.

Last time I watched MOTD, Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrensen added no punditry whatsoever, just basically explained things you can see with your own eyes, and added zero extra insight. Robbie Savage is superior as a pundit!
