What about putting tape over the corner of a VHS tape to re record over the tape... Or setting a cassette tape in the right place to record a song off the radio.

My children don't even know what a cassette tape is. We were clearing something out and they brought this mystical object to me asking what it is.

or black and white telly's, or the joy or opening a tri-fold album cover to look at the artwork and lyric's inside it and then placing a record gently onto a turntable and then setting the needle onto the edge of the record and listening to it crackle before the song start's to come out of the speakers
