Aimed at the "all free after Jailbreak" comment. I thought iPlayer was on the Apple TV, BBC certainly said it was coming. Vimeo is on there and of course anything on your iPhone or iPad screen can be shown via AirPlay. Not forgetting iTunes on your PC.

I don't think that the I player is on there, as well asthe other stuff, to be honest it doesn't seem limited until it's jailbroken.
My ATV, is set up on the network, so the I pad, phones, pc and hard drive are all working together. It's sometimes a little slow streaming stuff from the hard drive as it's old. But if you have a pile of films and music on your phone, pc etc, then you can get them all on there.
Personally I don't think it compares to the 77,000 film files on ice films. And I love putting video jukebox on and seeing what crops up

Buy a Samsung Smart TV to have iPlayer, LoveFilm etc. right there without needing extra boxes. Put a DLNA server on your computer of choice and stream everything to your TV direct via Wifi.
If you have one of the latest Samsung phones or tablets, you can remote control the TV from them, share screens, stream from your TV to your phone/tab etc etc. Also use Allshare. I can be out, take a few photos on my phone. Get home and two clicks on the phone and the photos are onscreen on the TV, no messing, no cables, no extra boxes. Got some videos on your tablet, again, two clicks, its playing on the TV.
Its been a huge change to our way of getting entertainment.
