Best take loads of money as the beer ain't cheep at over 7 euros a litre. Plus make sure you either reserve a table or you are inside a tent by about 4pm otherwise you may not get in, so make sure you like the beer in the tent you are in as you will not be able to switch tents.

Note if it's 7 Euros per litre, a pint is only 568ml, so that's almost 2 pints.
The Fraulines can be pretty hot btw, speaking a wee bit krautish helps. Something cheesey like "Du hast schones Augen" or something like that.
So do you have a German Freundin Wurzel?

Pontificating
Ace time in Munich on Friday
Never expected it to be so big and well set up, lots of pissed up people and all well behaved and not a chav in site, it would be so different over here.
9.95 a litre in the Hoffbrauhaus, glad I wasn't paying. The giant pretzels and smoked meat and cheese platter were a nice combo with the beer.
I found the beers in the fest to be bog standard stale **** continental lager, not very nice after a while, the Hoffbrauhaus beers we were drinking in the restaurants were way nicer, a touch cloudy a bit sweeter and very smooth.
Those Germans still love the 80's music singalong, very amusing watching them get into it in full lederhosen !!
