I'm having thoughts about going to Oktoberfest, originally, it was just the ring but I think we should kill two birds with one stone. Has anyone done both?

Also, i'll probably end up killing the car if I thrash it, anyone know of any good recovery services that'll take it home if it does go pop?

Well obviously it is not in the month of june , it is full of germans and tourists, large bellies and even larger tankards. If you like sweaty fat germans in tents drinking and singing then it is right up your street

Lmao, not in October, Septemberfest just doesn't seem the same.

 

Oktoberfest = Booze, booze, *****, booze, *****, booze and more booze (and *****). I think that's all you need to know really. I know a few people who have gone a couple of times and from the tales and photos is looks like a rather excellent time and an excuse, if one was needed, to get totally trollied along with many other like minded souls and to oggle and some fine scenery

Its all a bit mental but really good

Be prepared to pig out on Beer, pork knuckles and chicken to the sounds of a big german brass band giving it socks in the background!

Try to get to the "tents" early cos even though they are fecking huge the seats are all gone in no time

There's also a big carnival with loads of rides which are prob better to do before you get tanked up

Its def worth going to at least once imho
