Default McGuinness is good for you...?

Well, he wasn't good for some poor souls back in the '70's, was he?

From IRA commander to President?

The World's gone positively mad.

If he's the president of Ireland then he wont be Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland, so I say good luck to him and I hope him and Gerry stay in The Republic of Ireland and out of the North.

Traditional Unionist Voice leader, Jim Allister, branded him the "Bogside butcher". He said it would be good to get rid of him from Stormont, and that if Ireland was "foolish enough" to make him president then "the Republic's loss would be Ulster's gain".
About sums up my opinion on the matter

Out of interest Sinky & James, are you both Prods

Regardless of what he has done, it is the UK Government that have put him in a position of power but sure they are used to helping out terrorists.

I believe the chaps in my work would say, Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Two wrongs don't make a right Ali. America may have supported them but it was England who gave them the keys to Stormont.

good article in the Irish Times about him running for president.

http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...304412076.html
