Here is one in this clip

Little wooden balance bikes, in all different models. Super cute, and no faffing with stabilisers

Bit confused - there is not an actual engine in them no ?? just looks from video the young chap is not actually pedaling the bike but still moving ??!!
infact having watched Dragons Den tonight then no there could not have been an engine in them with them only costing £20 to manufacture and retailing around £100.
nice idea thou !!

My youngest got a regular balance bike for his 2nd birthday and was cycling on a proper bike at 2 1/2. Have heard similar stories from other parents, so reckon there's something in it!

Ive just brought one :-) Kiddimotor thing, went for the motorbike type in red. My son is 2.5 / 3yrs old and loves his scooter and is getting closer to bike ride age, so a good way of learning to ride a bike.
Yes, I know they cost £20 to the supplier, and at £100 Ive been ripped off, but hey, my little man will love it and that alone is worth the extra ££ :-)
Will let you know how it looks / feels and whether is good quality.

I had thought about getting one for Fin. A friends son had one and was cycling to school on a regular bike at the age of 4. Not sure how good that is to be honest. But my son is 6 in Feb, and still needs his stabilisers.
I'm not sure if it would be a step backwards, so as he has just been given a scooter, we will stick with that for a while.

stabilisers are the work of the devil
all my children were riding by 4 using a "like-a-bike", and never used stabilisers
just take the stabilisers and peddles off, then it works like the kiddimoto anyway
