I have just been going through some emails and had one from Play and saw that Dragons Lair 3D has been released. Now I have fond memeories of the original and never played it on the Amiga or any of the console conversions.
Has anyone here actually bought this game?If you have is it worth it or am I living in the past again?
Is it better to remember what the original was like rather than play some crap conversion just designed to cash in on my memeories?

Comments welcomed

Ta

Steve

not a bad game

if you dont like it just take it back for a refund within 10 days

Pretty poor game on the X-Box. Played it for 10 mins max Nice graphics, kept the cartoony feel, but ultimately very boring. Almost as unresponsive as the original too Damn that machine, skint me many a time.

I didn't like it on the Amiga. The character wasn't free enough - you could only follow set patterns that fitted the animations that had been drawn.

It was a cartoon, rather than computer generated.

AFAIR anyway.

BuRR, that was the whole game - it originally was a laserdisc by don bluth with a handful of choices at each prompt.

Available for DVD players too, which is rather cool!

Myself and a friend canabalised a Dragons lair unit so we could get at the laser disk player, which we then canabalised for the tube laser it contained. If I get a brain tumor I'm going to blame Dirk the Daring

Hello

I remember Dragon's Lair. It was a bit of a pointless game but great graphics.

There was also this other game, that had a holographic ball of some description and the people could be seen in 3D. Maybe I was just dreaming....
