Default Downloading music.......how?

What's decent at a decent price? Don't mind paying if it's good value.

And IS there a free method? PM me if you don't want to get slated............

TIA

www.gomusicnow.com has individual tracks starting at around 6p each for well-known albums, up to 10p each for the very latest releases, all totally legit and above board and playable on any mp3 compatible device.

They've got a massive stock of albums of pretty much every genre except classical, although I don't see that being much of a problem here on NSR
Sample rates range from 192kbps to 256kbps, so not quite CD quality but no worse than iTunes or the like.

+1 to spotify

have it installed on all my PC's,and its synced select playlists to my phone too (offline and online via 3g)
Tho you need to pay for the premium for the offline sync'd stuff

if you have the premium account you can download a copy to your PC/phone and run spotify in offline mode (http://www.spotify.com/uk/about/features/offline-mode/)
BUT it will only play it in Spotify (DRM)
but as spotify clients are on pretty much every OS, its no big deal for me

also looking to get a squeezebox or similar as they support spotify and ill be able to stream to my speaker setup

Spotify have introduced a new limit on free accounts where you can only listen to a specific track five times
