Sky Anytime +
Answers on a post card please.
Does anyone use this ? and if so is it any good ?
Is it just the case of plugging my Sky box into my router ?
Or do I have to register ? as I cant remember my login for sky.
Had a spat with sky and cancelled most of my package, thought I might give this a shot as it appears to be free.

Well ... the limiting factor for me is that you can only use it if you have Sky Broadband and it has to download quite a high proportion of the program before you can start watching.

I don't have a problem with it at all.
Downloads quick....hour long programmes takes about 5-10 minutes to DL fully and available to watch after a minute or so. Spose it depends how fast your speed is though.
One major thing that's a problem though, is to make proper use of it, you really should have the movies package, as that makes up most of whats available to watch...and then quite a lot is in HD too....and you need the HD package to watch that too.

This happend with our Sky plus had all three Toy story films in HD. As we no longer have HD or movies we can no longer watch.... Kids were not happy. Although they were more upset when Unlce buck was deleted even though they are only 6 and 8

It's not too bad if you like what's on SKY Atlantic and are a lover of documentaries as there is good content. Movies though are not available unless you have the packs, even the free ones I believe.

I'm on unlimited Sky BB connection speed around 10meg. I've used sky anytime + quite a few times, never had an issue with it and I can start watching the programs in minutes. I think its a real nice add-on
