They probably just didn't want no disident paramilitary action taken out on their headquarters, so decided to get them out asap.

And here! Nothing like a proper book. The smell, the feel......... doesn't matter if you drop it, or spill wine /tea whatever over it, and no-one wants to nick it.

Yes ... this.

Well, not quite so keen on the smell. But dropping it, spill things over it etc... is why paper books are still better.

I like having the books on the shelf - makes me feel more intelligent (although 95% of my collection is either Warhammer 40K or comics )

I've got one left of my last round of purchases from The Black Libary and I'll be making a start on Game of Thrones too.

Loving the foul mouthed dwarf (His ***** in the last couple of episodes has actually made a couple of **** fillums! - proper ones too - one of the blonde dragon girls maidens was also in some soft stuff)

Oooh, I love the smell of a musty old book! And stationery. I LOVE stationery! Does that make me weird?

I'm reading Peter Ackroyd's 'London-the Autobiography' at the moment. It's about 6" thick!

DYK........ I still nip in, but it's not worth posting most of the time. Sick to the back teeth of Muslim threads, etc.

First Heretic is really good - best one for a while. Prospero Burns was OK but I see why lots of people hate it.

Reading Firedrake at the moment (2nd in Salamander Trilogy) and it doesn't read as well as the first.
