Euro Disney in December?
As above really we are taking the kids 3 & 7 to Euro disney on the 5th of December and was wondering if any SN members had any tips.
I've already learnt that the food if very dear so take pack ups if you can, also if you want to meet any characters go to the disney hotel etc.
Any more tips are greatly welcomed.
Cheers

I would be very weary of the temperatures.
I went several years ago at the beginning of January, and it was unbeliveably cold
Having said that, the queues were horrendous so a lot of time was spend standing around.
I hope they have much more fast pass tickets on ride.
My daughter was 8 then and I'd say didn't totally enjoy the trip solely because of the cold.
Food in the park is stupid money, and to be quite frank its a bit **** anyway.
The hotel I stayed in was pretty close to the park - Dreamcastle Hotel

Great fun. Expensive and crap food but the atmosphere and the Christmas decorations are great!
The weekends will be manic but during the week should be quiet until the French schools break up.
The Disneyland Hotel is stupidly expensive but the other Disney hotels are fine. We like the Newport Bay. Book a character meal at Cafe Micky to get the character interaction.

We went last March and it was freezing - very open and windy place which adds extra windchill. We took our 5 and 3 year olds.
Park itself was excellent and the boys had an amazing time. We'd go again 'off-peak' to avoid the queues, even with the colder weather. We rarely had to queue for more the 15 mins for any of the rides (apart from our last day there). The last day we were there was on a Saturday and the sun was out plus a French bank holiday weekend - so the park was packed and the queues were horrendous.
Yes, food is very expensive, so take it in with you.

It's great fun. Me,the wife and kids went in March.
We went for a week and to be honest was way to long. It costs a bomb so be warned.
It cost me 49.50 for x2 horrible hot dogs,x2 cokes,x2 fries,x1 bottle of water and some chicken nuggets in a take out on Disney Walk. Not cheap.
If you can get the upgrade for vouchers DO IT. Best place place I found to eat for the kids and good value for money was the Disney burger bar (or something) next to whwre the big static balloon is just as you leave for the hotels.
Worst priced hotel I found for a meal was the Disney Hotel itself. 189.00 EURO's!!! For a buffet and the food wasn't great.
Make sure you take the kids to the Wild West Show. Great fun for the kids.
