Yes I had my done at optimax in Manchester in 2002. No idea about how Liverpool differs. After care was good - could even ring up if had concerns afterwards which is a handy feature.
Have a look at both places and work out which feel happiest at and remember things like cant drive afterwards so which is best for someone giving you a lft or getting a taxi etc

How are your eyes 9 years later ? Have they deteriorated at all during that time or do you still have the same quality vision as when you had the surgery done ?
This was one of my concerns as to how long will it last, i'm 42 now so i guess you get some natural degenoration with your eyes, i'd be hoping for at least 10 years good vision after surgery but its one of them things where their are no guarantees.
What was the parking like in Manchester for the Optimax place, do they have their own car park ?

My Wife had it done in Manchester about 3 years ago, best thing she has ever done were the words out of her mouth.
We parked here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=car+...adius=0.1&z=19
Can't comment on the Liverpool one but it is nice to sit outside the Town Hall that is just accross from the one in Manchester

Chip i apprciate that offer, i was fortunate to get a voucher from someone that a friend knows whose had it done.
What Optimax said is their are 2 options, you can take the offer where they guarentee that the top treatment including Wavefront won't come to anymore than £2395 i think they said or use the voucher against any price that the branch i have chosen gives me.
Just out of interest, what did everyone pay for the best one which i think is intralase wavefront Lasik or lasek? Always get those 2 mixed up lol
I'm booked into Manchester next week for an assessment.
