Talking Woo-hoo ! Monaco here I come

Just managed to amend a booking I had to the South of France next year, and will now be staying a short drive from Monte Carlo on the weekend of the Monaco GP (as long as the provisional date remains).

That's pretty good. Get the helicopter from Nice to Monaco ... not as expensive as it sounds and I sat with Avil Lavigne

Off there in October. If I can pull it off I'll be taking a little jaunt from Cap Ferrat to Monaco on this.

Very nice, looks like Villefranche Sur Mer in the background which is where we usually stay.

Thanks for all the offers of advice, I'll be sure to pick your brains to make sure it's a trip to remember. Dunx, would it surprise you if I said the week in Cannes was FREE ? Probably not as you know me Will be staying 3 nights in Paris en-route. Two nights around Lyon/Dijon, then a week around Cannes before going to my mates near Limousin for a week, via the Millau Bridge.
