JJust got back from Fords of Winsford, 100 mile round trip. What a bunch of utter jokers. Went to look at a used Kia for the Mrs, Right price, right spec, etc then the sales person say - oh by the way as there are no stamps in the book so it’s not under any kind of manufactures warranty.
Considering I asked how much of the warranty was left when I booked the test drive, and got a now I find out an inaccurate answer, to say I've very annoyed is saying the least.
They did offer to throw in one of their 1 year warranty but as part of the idea was it comes with a 5 year manufacture warranty, pretty pointless. Did ask if they have conformed it with Kia and got told that would be up to you !
Did ask if they were going to compensate me for my waste of time and petrol costs, might have well as spoken to a brick wall.
How do these car supermarkets survive, as seems looked on the web and found horror stories about FOW and the like.
But who buys a new car and then does not service it / get it stamped - seems a bit suspicious to me.

Anyone else got any horror stories about car supermarkets etc ?

Mate of mine has bought from FOW several times with no issues.

Golden rule is never be prepared to not walk away no matter how far you have travelled.

A misunderstanding over service history is hardly a 'horror story' especially since you didn't buy the car.

At best Id say salesman incompetence.

Deffo sales person incompetance, was asking if anyone else had any horror stoires of car supermarkets. as in the last line on my post.
