i mus be ill cos im now looking at the calories in various stuff i eat and this intrigues/amazes me

a hundred gram serving of bran ( no milk ) is 380kcal , whereas the same of bechemal splattered microwave lasgne is about 140 kcal per 100g

can this be right , i cant quite get my head round it ??

your not ill just getting older. i looked at a kitkat for teabreak the other day. only 107 calories it said on the wrapper. i saw it as 15 minutes of brisk walking on the treadmill in the gym. a good way to be as long as you don't get paranoid about it.

Don't forget all that fibre is a carb source as well.

Lasagne despite being fewer in calories it would be more damaging as it's a simple carb.

All bran would take a while to be digested.
