Default Daily Calorie Intake ?

Just found this, trying to work out how many calories I should be eating a day so I can guage what to eat to loose podge, down by 12 pounds so far, just trying to be a bit more scientific, you put your details in and it tells you how much you should eat, food packaging has a standard 2500 calorie recomendation for men but its way more involved than that.

NutritionData BMI & Calories Burned Calculator

I though this was a bit over generous, it said 2874 calories for starters, plus 1475 from exercise which was 50 mins of fast cycling and a 30 minute walk with the Dog, so 4349 calories, even when I am not trying to lose weight I dont eat that much !

Try yours and see what it says.

That says I need 3000 which I dont. If I do no exercise at all my weight is stable and I'm trying to loose the flab.

On exercise our ratpacks are 7000 calories and still hungry. Average person is 3000 a day a mix of healthy and some treats.
