Does the fact he is right not matter though? This is the prime minister, the leader of our country who seems happy to peddle lies about AV even after they have blatantly been pointed out to him Same with George Osbourne.
We shouldn't be surprised as they are all the same underneath the part rosette.

They (the politicians) just don't get it, do they? Whether we keep FPTP or go to AV, it will not change things one iota! Most of our laws come from Brussels and nothing the current lot wants to do, and nothing that any future AV-elected lot will want to do, will change that. We get iDave "graciously" letting us have a referendum on something the British electorate neither wanted nor asked for, nor was in any party manifesto at the last election, yet will not allow us a referendum on what we do want to be asked about, that is, in or out of the EU! THAT is the only referendum worth having.
Voting for AV is just voting for a slightly different way of slicing up the political spoils and the British electorate will still be shafted as they are now with FPTP.
Are there enough lampposts around Westminster Square to handle the whole of the HoC???

But do THEY enforce every one? Nope.
Do THEIR governments sit there wringing their hands and blaming Brussels? Nope.
It's OUR politicians, for whatever reason, THEY enforce the laws, THEY choose so to do, then blame Brussels.
It's OUR lot that need to grow a set, NOT get out of Europe.

Well, I could go for that, if it weren't for the FACT that those self-same laws apply to EVERY OTHER MEMBER STATE!
But do THEY enforce every one? Nope.

Even it it does appear that they are undermining their present jobs, they will of course have an eye out for the vastly better political jobs going should they manage to get this country federated with the rest of the corrupt fellows over the water.
