Default Just won £200 on McDonalds Monopoly

The kids had left stacks of the stickers lying around the house so I took all the online entry stickers and entered them on the McDonalds site - and one of them won £200. I now have an email from McDonalds telling me a cheque is on the way.

Of course the kids are now bitching about how it was their sticker that won, but they weren't going to bother entering them. Should I give them the money?

I'd give it to the kids, at the end of the day its their stickers that have won. Congrats on the £200

If they're your kids, then I guess you should compromise.

If they're not, then tough titty

I don't see what the problem is: take 'em for a day out somewhere as a Family and use the £200 to pay for it.

Major error in that you actually told them about the win.

As above, spend it on a family day out somewhere, you all get to enjoy it then

Its good to actually hear of someone winning one of these things, and it reminds me I have a few of those stickers under my visor in the truck, I am going to be checking them tomorrow!!

If they are minors then they can't enter competitions so they are screwed tell them you will buy them another burger and that should keep em happy or buy them some premium bonds @ 100 quid each, that way they can't blow the money on junk.

They're your children, spend the money on them before yourself... That's how parenting works

Don't reward them for being lazy, you said they were not going to bother and check the stickers,so they ditched the stickers and you checked them it came up as a winner, you deserve to keep the winnings..

Buy the kids a burger though eh..

We were pounced upon by some snotty nosed kidz , turned out to be these tokens they were after , yet another reason not to visit the place ( first time in several years - since the last time the girlfriend persuaded me in fact )
