Dinosaurs have feathers?
They certainly didn't when I learnt about them in school! When did this revelation occur?

Birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs so it's plausible. Besides haven't you got anything better do on a Saturday evening than watch TV.

Happened a few years ago. More and more fossils are being found with evidence of feathers. So it's thought they started developing feathers a long time ago - the purposes of which have not been determined as they weren't thought to be used for flying.
