Default Calling all drummers

I want to get into playing the drums, it's something i've always wanted to do but never found the right moment.

So what i'm after is your recommendations on a reasonable value for money with good sound quality kit.

I dont want to spend a fortune 5/800 pounds is all i want to stretch to as im not about to join a rock band and go on tour.

I have also seen what appear to be electronic kits any info or opinions on these is also welcome.

Thanks in advance..

Here you go!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Session-Pro-DD...item5d2ca20e8e

Electronic drum kits theses days are very good and allow you to practice without annoying your neighbours!

My lad started lessons a few weeks ago and he learns on one of thses so they must be good for the job.

He is being taught by a pro drummer who has 2 of these kit's facing each other in his garage, a very cool way to learn!

Good luck!!!

Yeah, well I had to translate it from my native Welsh you see boyo

Here you go:

This is the kit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTEa1z1UfKI

Details here:

http://www.roland.co.uk/products/pro...px?p=1154&c=60

The PM3 monitor is basically a drum amp though not really required as you can still play through the kit to headphones.

Buy the best kit you can and preferrably secondhand as you will get a lot more for your money. Remember as well most kits if new dont come with a base pedal , stool, sticks etc.
