Default Tesco caught out

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...s-cash-in.html

Great quote from Asda spokesperson ''If you claim to be the cheapest, call me old-fashioned, but it helps to really be the cheapest.''

Lidl's for me ... why should only Pikies get the best food at the cheapest prices?

I don't mind Tesco per se, it's just the whole 'experience' of shopping there.

Most of the people who shop there are either fat, ugly, or scruffy, or a combination of all three.

It's just depressing; the worry worn grey faces, miserably queuing up for lottery tickets, riffling through the discount shelf, eating chips, beans, sausage at the cafe.

I need to shop at Waitrose with the beautiful people.

Maybe this fella should spend more time making sure his own companies stock actually has a decent shelf life instead of making slightly amusing quotes.

My local Asda is a ****-hole.

Me too. Tesco's ****.

I found myself in Tescos Hatfield last week - Oh My GOD - It was a nightmare. Gawdy colours everywhere, Banners on every stand, Banners hanging from the ceiling, Banners banners everywhere. It was just vomit inducing. Sweaty floor staff. Sh1tty trolley wheel wobble, Fugly Till Monkies.

Give me Waitrose WGC any day, they do Yellowfin Tuna they do and the staff don't offend my nose or my eye

I took some lightbulbs (proper, incandescent, sod the polar bears, non-mercury death-tube lightbulbs) back to Asda as they were half the price at Sainsbobs.

Did they honour their price-match plus money back - did they bollocks. It has to be "blah, blah, blah, basket, blah, blah, internet, blah blah etc." and i HAD the receipt.

So i said "will you give me a refund if i think that the product is sheeite" - and they did!

Weird policy
