Some serious skill there, used to be what i was into until one too many bad crashes. i have nothing but respect for the guys who can do it and show skill/commitment like that!

I always wished I bike skills like that, but I used to crash way to often, usually ending up injured. Got to the point where I'd get 1/2 way there, scare myself then crash!!

I used to love doing tame downhill stuff (shropshires not known for big stuff), still that cost me 9 months in physio I turn into Snazy when I get on 2 wheels!

Thats madness.. takes me back to the rallying in the 80's where you couldnt see the track/circuit and you just steered towards the opening in the crowd

My eldest's shins are a mass of scar tissue.

Most of it comes from the pedals, which, if you slip off, are running steel studs for grip, and they act like a meat grinder on flesh.

I had a look in Stif at some flats as I was considering swapping back from SPDs. The guy showed me some full on DH jobbies! My shins started to tingle and I broke into a cold sweat!!! Still riding SPDs
