Default Magnetic dash mount for ipod, SatNav or phone.

What is,or isn't it safe for. I'm guessing any ipod with a hard drive is a NO-NO. What about flash drive Nano's or Garmin Sat Nav's.

Have you guys tried these that I use in my car? Similar, but no magnets.

If anyone wants one, you can use your SN discount code, but also, choose collect in person from the menu and i will ship for free.

Whats the SN discount code? This does look good but what are its limits? Fast cornering and braking with something heavy would make me nervous, especially a high value item such as an i phone 4.

Discount code is "SNDiscount"

Hi,
I am lucky in so much as the M5 has a pretty flat dash so it stays put no matter what I do, and it is an Phone 4 that I have too.

They work pretty damn well. Even vertical, in fact, I have had an idea... BRB

There you go, just took this with the pad on my office window, and my daughters iPhone 4 stuck on it.

Can you cut it to fit the size of the phone?

Yes but now put 1 1/2 -2G on that office window to simulate cornering and post back your results.

Wouldnt just turning it upside down effectively be a 1g test as its due to suction rather than friction?

Effectively it would, yes, if Wikipedia isn't lying. However, proper acceleration is what we need here to test stresses and strains that cornering add into the mix.
