Mike Parry - Talksport
Anyone (like me) really sad Mike Parry has gone from the airwaves?
I'm not a sport fan as such but loved his radio show, made me laugh every time. Thought porky and MG made a good double act.
I tried listening today and it's so bland without him there. I do a lot of driving these days and I actually used to be really happy if I was on the road between 10-1 just because he'd be on the radio.
Richard Keys and Andy Gray get his slot, FFS
Come back Mike, or at least go somewhere else I can listen to you (and get MG to join you)

It seems (from all the comments from other presenters) that he left before the Keys/Gray thing was agreed. A long standing contract wrangle was the rumour. I enjoy his shows and he made a good partnership with whoever he was matched with. I hope he gets another radio job as he is a funny funny guy.

Pontificating
Parry said in his local rag that he resigned before the employment of Keys and Gray, over a long term contractual dispute as he put it, for once porky wasn't telling it as he saw it imo.
As discussed in the sport section, I'll give them two months before it's either binned or restructured, they will struggle to fill 15 hours a week.
