Default Grated cheese?

OK I am bored. But I noticed again today whilst out shopping those bags of ready-grated cheese.
I have always had a cheese grater & can't see why you need to buy this stuff as it is fairly expensive.I am all for labour saving but this seems to be going a bit to far.
Would you buy some and why?

I am all for money saving, so I'd rather grate the cheese than buy it ready-grated. You get all sorts pre-packed, you know. Washed and sliced green beans, washed and sliced carrots etc. You can even buy buttered baby potatoes in a bag. LOL how time consuming is that to butter some baby potatoes, and sprinkle some chopped herbs to it?? I understand that very, very busy people are very, very pleased with such convenience, but they are better off finding some extra few minutes for chopping, buttering and grating for cooking. You know what, I can see some researcher bringing it up in a very near future as a probable sign of arthritis in a lot of people's hands in the UK, because they don't use their hands enough for cooking.

BTW, all washed and pre-packed leaves are acceptable IMO. They should be sold like that, to be fair. But, that Uncle Ben's microwavable rice does my head in. God! How easy is that to cook rice! Anyone buying Uncle Ben's microwavable rice is a lazy sod.

Did you hear about Stevie Wonder being given a cheese grater? He said it was the most horrific book he'd ever read!

LOL Stevie Wonder is one of the biggest cheese graters. He grated plenty of great cheese with his super cheesy love songs. " I just called to say, I love you................". Very cheesy indeed.

Now I have just seen an advert on TV for '3 in 1 coffee'
This is a small sachet of coffee with creamer and sugar added so you don't have to go to all the trouble of putting in your own milk and sugar!!!

FFS I am thinking of opening a Holiday resort where you can lie in bed sedated all day & be fed intaveinously for 2 weeks.

Those Nescafe sachets can be good for emergencies when you run out of any of those ingredients to make coffee. But anyone using them all the time has forgotten how a real coffee should taste like. They do taste supersh!t in compare to proper coffee.

It always amuses me that supermarkets sell ice cubes If you have the place to store them, then you have the place to make your own And it's not difficult

Bags of ice cubes are very handy, especially if your having guests round for drinks.

I used to eat cheese daily and bought those slices for my sandwiches. I suppose I could have bought a block of cheese and cut it, but those slices were the perfect size for my bread

I agree grated cheese in a bag is a luxury, but if you can afford it and want it, why not?

My missus insists on grated cheese sarnies rather than sliced. I can't be @rsed to grate.

The solution is grated cheese it was what Clive Sinclair was to computing as it is to sandwich makers...........a fat fecking waste of time IMHO.

However over here in Aus it's cheaper than block..................so............no skin off my ****/knuckles [however you choose to grae it]

I always find using the ice cube maker two days in advance and a couple of sandwich bags works well.

Am I a tight @rse ?

I've bought grated cheese. It makes making lasagne a bit quicker. Depends how lazy I'm feeling.

Grated cheese is better for sarnies. It has a greater surface area than a slice, thus tastes better
