Default "The Fall" (the Band)

No, not me sliding round hotel bathrooms like a Greased Walrus but the band, found some on my Mp3 player which has tonnes of stuff I havent listened to and I have never really listened to The Fall and the bits I have heard I thought were dreadful but had this album called "Extricate" come on and I just carried on working and started to get into it, really enjoyed it, not exactly conventionally easy to listen to but now I want some more albums to listen to.

Have tried in the past and though it was ****, is it an age thing, an aquired taste ?

Any Fall fans in ?

I saw them at Camp Bestival last year - an absolute appalling waste of stage time IMO.

People were having a listen and then walking off, shaking their heads in disbelief of what they were hearing...

Mark E Smith was just rambling like an incoherent drunk (which he probably was), not even singing but talking the lyrics along on every song.

As I see it, they were only 'good' because John Peel championed them all those years ago.

Excellent band. New LP is very good as well. But, then again, I have terrible taste in music LOL

I'm not what you'd call a Fall fanatic, but I loved this back in the day.

My all time favourite Band !
Think I have about 24 albums on my MP3 - in fact listened to Your Future/Our Clutter on way home from work tonight.

If you dont like them then you just dont get it.....
