Default One for the DJs/record collectors

I've been after an old electro song by a group called Planet Patrol so some time. Here you see a number for sale for circa £30, I'm after CD by the way.
One of the CDs is sealed in the packet, so does that mean they are still making these in which case why so expensive?

Thanks

Couldn't answer your query but a good friend of mine were record shopping in Nottingham about 5 years ago. He found brand new vinyl copies of 2 Prodigy albums still in their cellophane. Couldn't believe it and only £10 each!!! So it does happen...

The prodigy albums were repressed so plenty of newer copies floating about

I think xl recordings repressed most of their back catalogue

I did think this as other labels did it for various classic dance choons when I started out djing 9 years ago. Could it be the same for Deeps CD? Just in ltd numbers.

I don't know anything about Electro but here is the link from discogs

http://www.discogs.com/search?q=Play...&btn=&type=all

If you look at the CD it is US only although I'm on my iPhone so couldn't see properly but doesnt look like the CD single was ever released in the UK. There are 2 people on discogs selling copies but both are in dollars so I imagine shipping from the US and from what I can see on the amaon link the sellers there are private not actually amazon. If it's rare it's worth what people are willing to pay I guess.

Because it's still wrapped doesn't mean its been repressed it could just be a collector who bought more than one copy. You'd be surprised how many people bought 2 copies of early rave vinyls with a view to selling one on I did it myself with a few records

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure there weren't loads out there due to a repress before I paid an inflated price due to rarity value. So basically it could be back from when it was released but somebody just hasn't opened it.

Special x, that's a very kind offer but I'd really like to have an original copy. You are one lucky bugger having the whole street sounds electro series, I've lost the few I had. They have never been released on cd as far as I can tell, only some people selling ripped versions which I don't want due to inferior sound.

Thanks again

I knew these were going to be worth keeping!

I also have this on CD http://streetsoundscoverart.blogspot.com/

but it does not seem to have the track you are after.
