Bel Detector Off Normal Batteries?

Do as I am about to... take the spare cable you got with it..
one is curly and one is straight cable..
Cut off the cigerette plug and wire the two wires in... straight to the battery etc.. maybe wise to add an inline fuse mind..
The straight cable is easier as the cable is marked positive and negative.. the wire with the white stripe it positive..
Seeing as you mode of transport must be able to exceed the limit is it most likely 12v... (check first mind)
either that or Halfords sell cig lighter sockets.. buy one and fit it to the bike mate!
Sorted

PS: Usual disclaimers apply..

Cheers JGM, I always wondered why they included that annoying curly cable with it
I may have to fit a lighter socket anyway as I just realised my tyre inflator is of no use when it is not plugged into one, either that, or I'll have to invest in one of those foot pumps
The form of transport: The Vehicle
BuRR, strangely enough I was told off when I did my cycling proficiency test (many, many years ago, primary 6 I think) as our local officer of the law had seen my cycling 'a bit too quickly' through the village. A mate got one of those speedos for bikes, unfortunately he could not manage any more than 35mph, so I never found out how quick the racer would go
