Bicester village any good
The mrs has been told it's great and we need to go. I have heard this all before so I thought I would ask you lot.
I will be driving 2 hours to get there. Is it any good?
Thanks

For a 2 hour drive? Not really.
Nice stuff there for sure but it always seems to be the items that nobody bought in John Lewis if you get me.
The North Face shop had everything other than the black bomber style jackets all the cool folk wear and what was there was all too small or too large.
Was full of our far easten cousins too - I assume Honda was shut that day.
Personally I'd travel a bit further and either shop in Cheltenham or for an overnight maybe Cardiff.

What he said ^^.
Been twice - don't know why we went after the first time - when it first opened and things really did seem to be genuine bargains (the PS suit I bought for one) but reports form other people seem to infer it's not cheap anymore. and if you're of an average size there's not much choice of clothes.
And too many smelly people go there now for the Lizzy Duke jewellery.

Some days you can be lucky and and others not. Often don't have the right sizes. I find Penhaligon's is usually ok.......and Tod's. I'm about 50 minutes away, and find I'm less inclined to go there now because it's not worth it.

I was there a couple of days ago.I'm only about an hour away,so its not a massive drive.
Its a bit hit and miss is the way i'd describe it too. There are some bargains to be had-just depends on what your bag is.
Oh,and you will have to fight your way through rude Chinese, chavvy loud cockneys and masses of eastern europeans-now that theyve cottoned on!.
Go early and psych yourself up with a breakfast at Villandry(before 11-30!)

The trouble is that one day you can go and get good suits cheap, another day nothing but crap, I have seen hugo boss suits there more expensive than the hugo boss shop in CMK. You take your chances and see what happens. Go early though I last went 2 years ago in december and it was packed annoying and made me want to kill everyone else there.

This is where the select few Chinese that are allowed out of their commie paradise go to shop. The funny thing is they pay a months salary for clothes that were made in China for pennies

I've visted almost every shopping village in the UK as part of one of my old jobs, and the only thing noteworthy is that they all looked the same The only one I distinctly remember is the one in Bideford, and thats only because I was nearly blown off the roof in gale force winds
Most have the same outlet stores, so if there is one nearer to you than Bicester, then go to that one instead.
