Default computer hackers

Just a warning to everyone theres a gang from abroad phoning random people across sw england telling them they have a problem with there windows on there computer,they then talk them through how to solve the problem but there actualy getting all your financial details and the next thing you know your accounts are empty.They phoned me up and luckily enough i told them to foxtrot oscar but a lot of people havnt been so lucky,i dont know if there doing area by area but be on the look out anyway

I concur - Anyone thick enough to fall for this kind of scam frankly deserves it!

Sadly, my Father IS that stupid

70 yrs old and daft as a brush. sends off £5 here and £10 there for "European Lottery wins etc" - Idiot!

Well I would tell them to stuff it. How can they tell I have problems with my Windows? I had new ones put in only a couple of years ago. Proper wooden double glazing. I admit they need a bit of a clean, but still....

I never answer a thing to cold callers ... best to ring back on a number you know works

It's amazing how many calls I get with random people wanting me to go through security details first ...

Some people just are not aware are they,i'm a sucker for telling my parents don't give any info to phone callers or anyone claiming to be from the bank etc or people who come to the house,most of them are just window people/energy callers though..
