Default Who just watched wheeler dealers?

Just watched this on Disc real time.

They bought an '01 bug for £3250 with a knackered clutch, faffed about with it stuck some crappy 'viper style' vinyl stripes on it, and sold it for £5400!

Wow, 3 threads about the same thing

It's not like they ruined a ltd edition s204, is it. Just a boggo wrx gets beaten a bit with the Barry stick for some light entertainment.

Aw shucks! I didn't even know about the other threads.

Hilarious how 'making it stand out' translated to sticking that crap all over it! Crazy.

To be fair they didn't just stick a few stickers all over it did they?

New clutch, Brembo brake upgrade, new exhaust, new panel filter, remap, new wheels + the stripes.

All that for <£200 profit.

No profit at all if they took labour into the equation.

If they did that, they wouldn't make a profit on any car they did!

+1 oftern they would be well in the red. Programmes only saving grace is that they 'revived' some great cars - along with the odd chav chariot

Its unlikely they sold it for £5400 at all. The sales are mostly acted out, as are the reactions of Mike and Edd to the "awesome performance" from the 245 bhp car

Edd in that helmet was absolutely classic though. Genuinly PMSL at that bit

Yes, they faffed about with it. Technically there was hardly anything thatade a great deal of difference with regards to the performance.

They would probably have been better off just doing the clutch. The brembos were not necessary, they could have just replaced standard for ..... Standard.
I would not have bought it, simply because of those black stripes. They thought it added value! In my opinion, it de valued it, as anything personalised on a car (in this case their names) can only bring down the value.
