Default RyanAir, online check-in question

Never travelled on Ryan Air before and just wondered, once you are checked in online, whats the procedure at the airport. We have no hold luggage, just carry on. So what do we do lol.

The FAQ on the website is not too helpful.

Do we still need to be there 2 hours prior, or just in time for boarding, what do we do about confirming our presence at the airport etc.

And have a pee before you board or you have to go outside once airborne

You probably have, but you do not mention it, you need to print out your boarding card and take that with you to the airport. Don't lose it otherwise RyanAir charge you £40 per person to check you in at the airport.

Then as above, just go straight to the gate through security.

Due to a slight detour for petrol last week ( 1/2 hour detour) and a crash on the M25 we managed to park up in long term 25 minutes before departure and arrived at checkin / baggage drop ( because the girlfriend has a refugee passport) about 10 minutes later

From that point on i guess we were safe ( no baggage ) but we still ran the whole way to gate 49 ( this is Stansted) , only to find the whole party still waiting to board lol

I would not recommend this approach im still recovering

Expect a cheesey sound to play once you land at your destination. You'll know what i mean when you hear it.

They haven't played that stupid fanfare on my last three "on time" Ryanair flights. Perhaps they've stopped it now.

I've been over to Slovakia twice this year, and they have played it both times again! Latest time was about 6 weeks ago, and they still do it!
