I love Rain-X, but it sucks when you dont put it on properly, and can cause smeers when it rains lol.

For me, the mutitude of uses for a micro fibre cloth is my newest eye opener. Cleans the iPad screen with SO much ease lol. And there was me only polishing cars with them

Just follow the instructions to the letter and make sure your windscreen is as clean as you can get it before you put it on.

Also useful this time of year as the frost doesn't stick so firmly to it either. Reduces scraping time in the morning

stops moisture clinging to the glass...

I use it on my glass shower door... stops the gradual build up of lime marks etc...

Never used it on a car funny enough

I may have to get some of this. I currently put a wax film on the windscreen that makes the water bead and run off.

I had some suff off ideal world shopping channel which was fantastic and I am currently using the Halfords own brand rain stuff which is pretty good. If you are driving over 60mph in heavy rain you barely need the wipers, especially at night.

They have RainX in Morrisons at the moment for £4.99. Can't remember how much the Halfords one was as bottle lasts for ages.

Used to do a big bottle in Costco for about the same price as a normal bottle in Halfords. May be worth looking if you're a Costco member.

Great stuff.
Just a shame that the company has teamed up with BRAKE.

Detailing Clay.

Seriously if you have never clayed your cars bodywork (or windows) you have no idea what you are missing. You will be amazed at the difference when you run your fingers over the section you have just clayed and compared it so a section you haven't done yet.

You can't ride a bike in the rain without RainX. It has been around for years and years and years. Never tried it on a windscreen though. It can get a bit smeary on your visor if you try and wipe it, so I always thought it would be a bollox with wipers

Fantastic stuff but as already said - you gotta put it on right or smear city you will have.
Suprised no one has rocked up yet and said that PIAA wipers do a better job for beading water than rain-x.
