The Human Centipede
After hearing about this flick a while back, I've seen a few things in the news about it being gruesome and vomit inducing.
I was intrigued, as i enjoy a good crappy horror movie, and controversy surrounding its main premise is just a garnish. After acquiring it a few days ago. I finally had some time to watch it, and i have to say i was a little disappointed. It's a bit rubbish, it's a bit stupid and most of all, the 2 girls, who are victims stuck in the middle of it (pun intended) ham it up sooo much, their acting is stale and you find the characters shallow and self centred. You end up cheering for the twisted Dr. who has created this 'creature' and behind the main premise, is a poor movie at best.
I think, after watching the trailer, and letting my imagination in on the idea, the movie owes alot to the hype of its main premise and possible, thankfully, its still waiting to pay that off.
Although, if the blogosphere is anything to go by, the next human centipede, will be more disgusting and gruesome. This movie was just a 'desensitizing' exercise it seems...

Yeah, possibly if your into horror and that sort of stuff, and the thought of a shared digestive system don't make you squeamish....but I started explaining the movie to my better half and she told me to stop and she didn't wanna hear any more..let alone watch the movie....
Special effects are not too bad, and there are a few simple plot holes and 'wtf' moments....maby worth a borrow...

Les, you did ask.....
Basically a film about a mental and very creepy German doctor who specialised in his professional life in separating conjoined twins but in his spare time he liked creating them, he had a practise on a trio of Rottweilers and then started collecting people for his main creation, started off with a truck driver but two gormless American girls happened upon his house (bad luck) having had a flat, the dopey bints could have had avoided it is they had the wherewithall to change a bloody tyre.
Anyway, the film involves him creating said "Centipede", basically a very grumpy (understandably) Oriental man at the front of the *** to mouth Conga and the two Americans at the back, it kind of works but I dont think it will catch on, suspect that the Condems may try it with Clegg and Cameron.
I was looking forward to the film but it was just not very good, not that horrific really, a bit of suspense and the doctor was good but young, attractive American women are just such a horror cliche.
The Hostel films are much better.

Thanks J4CKO, now I see what it is about. Well your picture made the whole subject a bit more interesting to look at at least!
Cant see our "leaders" doing it, there would be too much jealousy in the ranks!
