So who has a Euromillions ticket for Friday!
That is one hell of a prize!

Not yet - but I will have. Be nice to be able to afford Tescos rather than Lidl after winning that ....

I meant 'afford to shop in' as opposed to 'afford' .... smart **** ...
Anyway, I'be bought my 76,275,360 tickets, each with a different number combination, so the prize is mine ...

Once the prize gets mega big 2 or 3 times the usual number of people will buy a ticket or two so why doesn't £100m zoom upwards?

Yes - less chance of winning but why doesn't the kitty get much bigger?
But I suppose I could manage on £100m (tax free
). Might have to give more towards the housekeeping

Because it is a special prize this week. Normally it starts at £10m and as you get rollovers then yes the prize does start to zoom up. It reaches a limit and then is shared amongst top tickets.

We have 30 on at work between 5 of us. Won £92 on Saturday night, so we have 32 tickets on for Wednesdays draw and 30 on Fridays.
Fingers crossed.

No, no, no, no, no!!!
If you log in it will tell you that you cannot buy tickets overseas. I have no idea why. Even if I am in Spain for example my ticket would be invalid! Go figure!

I will play even though I 'know' I'm not going to win. People say it's a tax on the poor or a tax on people who can't do maths, but the fact that someone wins virtually every week keeps people coming back for more. I suppose I am one of them.
The attraction for me would be the freedom it would provide, above the material things it could buy you.

You can have that with the Shampers after you've won .

It doesn't matter how many tickets are bought. Each ticket has exactly the same chance of winning if you have the only ticket bought or 75 million are sold. What is true is that the more people buy a ticket the more chance there is of having to share the prize money.

I think it's 100M Euros, only about £82M. So you may not be able to afford more housekeeping ...
